PDO Nemea<\/h3>\n

A qualidade dos vinhos Nemea PDO \u00e9 creditada \u00e0 singularidade da variedade, ao solo e \u00e0s condi\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas da regi\u00e3o, o que chamamos de terroir, que determinam o microclima da zona onde a variedade prospera. A zona vin\u00edcola de Nemea se estende at\u00e9 uma altitude de 200-850 metros. N\u00e3o \u00e9 completamente uniforme, mas \u00e9 dividida em tr\u00eas sub-zonas com pequenas, mas cruciais diferen\u00e7as microclim\u00e1ticas, resultando nas uvas colhidas para mostrar varia\u00e7\u00f5es em seu tempo de colheita, intensidade de cor, acidez, etc. e proporcionalmente ser suscet\u00edvel \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o de diferentes tipos de vinhos. Na primeira zona (montanha) s\u00e3o classificados vinhedos localizados a uma altitude de 550-850 metros. Nestes vinhedos h\u00e1 um atraso no amadurecimento das uvas em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos vinhedos das outras duas zonas. A segunda zona (semi-montanhosa) inclui as encostas e se estende a uma altitude de 320-550 metros, enquanto a terceira zona (plan\u00edcie) inclui vinhedos a uma altitude de 200-320 metros. A colheita come\u00e7a em meados de setembro na zona de terra baixa onde o amadurecimento das uvas foi conclu\u00eddo. Em seguida pelos semi-montanhosos, e 20-25 dias depois pela zona montanhosa.
\u201cNEMEA \u2013 P.O.P.\u201d \u00e9 um vinho que a cada ano que passa ganha qualidade, um vinho que vive muitos anos. Essa caracter\u00edstica, rara para os vinhos gregos, o coloca entre os grandes vinhos em escala global.
O vinhedo da Vin\u00edcola Zacharias se espalha por uma \u00e1rea de 40 ha., dos quais cerca de 30 ha est\u00e3o na \u00e1rea mais ampla de Nemea, e cerca de 10 ha na regi\u00e3o de Mantinea. Grande parte do vinhedo ainda est\u00e1 localizada nas encostas ao redor da vila de Le\u00f4ncio. L\u00e1, al\u00e9m do agiorgitiko nativo, se adaptaram extremamente bem as uvas Mavrodaphne e Malagouzia.<\/p>\n

Vinhos secos tintos PDO Nemea s\u00e3o produzidos pelo m\u00e9todo cl\u00e1ssico da vinifica\u00e7\u00e3o tinta. A fermenta\u00e7\u00e3o alco\u00f3lica das uvas ap\u00f3s a separa\u00e7\u00e3o das borras acontece a 30oC.
Os vinhos tintos meio-doces PDO Nemea s\u00e3o produzidos tanto parando a fermenta\u00e7\u00e3o quanto adicionando ao vinho seco, mosto retificado ou concentrado.
Vinhos tintos doces (Vin Doux) PDO Nemea s\u00e3o produzidos adicionando-se ao mosto, antes do in\u00edcio da fermenta\u00e7\u00e3o alco\u00f3lica do mesmo, um mosto de uvas com pelo menos 95% vol., de modo que que o produto acabado tenha o t\u00edtulo alcoom\u00e9trico legal e a for\u00e7a alco\u00f3lica necess\u00e1ria. O vinho deste tipo cont\u00e9m todos os a\u00e7\u00facares do mosto.<\/p>\n

O vinho PDO NEMEA (Nemea) \u00e9 produzido apenas a partir de uvas frescas da variedade Agiorgitiko, uma variedade que at\u00e9 algumas d\u00e9cadas atr\u00e1s era cultivada exclusivamente nesta regi\u00e3o, vindo da\u00ed a liga\u00e7\u00e3o entre a regi\u00e3o e a uva. Portanto, a variedade Agiorgitiko \u00e9 considerada uma das melhores variedades tintas da Gr\u00e9cia e foi selecionada como o \u201cembaixadora local\u201d do pa\u00eds, de acordo com o plano estrat\u00e9gico para a promo\u00e7\u00e3o do vinho grego.

PDO Nemea<\/h3>\n

The quality of Nemea PDO wines is credited to the uniqueness of the variety, to the soil and climatic conditions of the region, what we briefly call terroir, which determine the microclimate of the zone where the variety thrives. The wine-growing zone of Nemea extends to an altitude of 200-850 meters. It is not completely uniform but is divided into three sub-zones with small but crucial microclimatic differences, resulting in the grapes harvested to show variations in their harvest time, intensity of color, acidity, etc. and proportionately be susceptible to the production of different types of wines. In the first zone (mountain) are classified vineyards located at an altitude of 550-850 meters. In these vineyards there is a delay in the maturation of grapes in relation to the vineyards of the other two zones. The second zone (semi-mountainous) includes the slopes and extends to an altitude of 320-550 meters while the third zone (lowland) includes vineyards at an altitude of 200-320 meters. The harvest begins around the middle of September in the lowland zone where the ripening of the grapes has been completed. This is followed by the semi-mountainous and 20-25 days later the mountainous zone.
\u00abPDO NEMEA\u00bb is a wine that every year that passes gains quality, a wine that lives many years. This characteristic, rare for Greek wines, ranks it among the great wines on a global scale.
The vineyard of Zacharias Winery, spreads over an area of 40 He, about 30 He of which are in the wider area of Nemea, and about 10 He in the region of Mantinea. Red dry wines PDO Nemea are produced by the classic method of red winemaking. Alcoholic fermentation of grape and wine in fermentation after separation from crowns takes place at controlled temperatures of less than 30o C.
The red semi-sweet wines PDO Nemea are produced either by stopping fermentation or by adding to the dry wine rectified or concentrated must.
Red sweet wines (Vin Doux) PDO Nemea are produced by adding to the must, before the start of the alcoholic fermentation of alcohol of wine origin of at least 95% vol., so that the finished product has the legally acquired and total alcoholic strength. Variety \u00abPDO NEMEA\u00bb<\/strong><\/h2>\n

PDO NEMEA (Nemea) wine is produced only from fresh grapes of the Agiorgitiko variety, a variety that until a few decades ago was grown exclusively in this region and is therefore directly linked the name of the region to the variety. Therefore, the Agiorgitiko variety is considered one of the finest red varieties in Greece and has been selected as the country\u2019s \u00ablocal ambassador\u00bb, according to the strategic plan for the promotion of Greek wine.<\/p>\n

The Agiorgitiko variety is the noblest variety in Southern Greece.
